Our Terms & Conditions in Detail

1. General

By placing an order with Tana’s Cakery, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Tana’s Cakery reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Orders

• All custom cake orders must be placed at least [5] five days in advance.

• A detailed description of the desired design, flavors, sizes, and special requirements must be provided at the time of ordering.

• Orders are subject to availability and will be confirmed upon receipt of payment or deposit.

3. Payments & Deposits

• A [50%] non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all custom orders.

• The remaining balance is due upon pickup or delivery.

• Accepted payment methods: cash and bank transfers

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders cancelled more than [7 days] before the event will receive a refund, minus the deposit.

• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within [5 days] of the event.

• Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction based on personal taste preferences once the cake has been accepted and picked up or delivered.

5. Design & Customization

• Tana’s Cakery will make every reasonable effort to match designs as requested, but some variations may occur due to the handmade nature of our products.

• Exact color matches are not guaranteed.

6. Pickup & Delivery

• Clients are responsible for transporting cakes safely if picking up.

• Tana’s Cakery is not liable for any damage to the cake once it has left our premises.

• Delivery is available within south or Castries are subject to availability and delivery fees.

7. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

• Our cakes may contain or come into contact with allergens such as milk, eggs, nuts, soy, and wheat.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any dietary restrictions or allergies.

• We do not offer allergen-free or vegan cakes unless specifically agreed upon at the time of order.

8. Liability

• Tana’s Cakery is not responsible for damages due to mishandling once the product has been picked up or delivered.

• We reserve the right to photograph our creations and use those images for marketing purposes, unless otherwise agreed.

Disclaimer:

Cakes decorated with darker-colored frosting—such as deep reds, blacks, blues, deep pink or purples—may leave temporary stains on the tongue, teeth, and hands due to the high concentration of food coloring required. Additionally, the taste may be slightly bitter or chemical-like, especially when large amounts of dark gel food coloring are used. This is a common characteristic of dark-colored frostings and is not harmful, but it may affect overall flavor and eating experience.
