At Tana’s Cakery, customer satisfaction is very important to us. However, due to the custom and perishable nature of our products, we have specific guidelines for refunds and cancellations.
1. Non-Refundable Deposits

All custom cake orders require a non-refundable deposit of [50%] at the time of booking.

This deposit secures your event date and covers costs associated with planning, preparation, and ingredients.
2. Cancellations

Orders cancelled 7 or more days before the scheduled pickup/delivery date are eligible for a partial refund (excluding the deposit).

Orders cancelled less than 7 days before the event are non-refundable, as preparation and ingredient sourcing may already be underway.

No-shows or same-day cancellations will not be refunded under any circumstances.
3. Order Changes

Minor changes (e.g., flavor or color) can be requested up to 5 days before the event date.

Major changes or rescheduling may result in additional charges or may not be accommodated, depending on availability.
4. Product Satisfaction

Due to the subjective nature of taste, no refunds will be given for products that meet the agreed-upon design, flavor, and description.

If you are dissatisfied with your order for a legitimate reason (e.g., incorrect flavor or structural damage on arrival), please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery. We may offer a partial refund, store credit, or replacement, depending on the situation.
5. Pickup & Handling

Tana’s Cakery is not responsible for any damage to the product after it has been picked up or successfully delivered.

Cakes must be stored in a cool, stable environment and transported with care.
6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
